1. About this Accessibility Statement

This Accessibility Statement explains Hashtag Bio's accessibility commitment, current conformance position, known testing limitations, feedback route and arrangements for alternative access to the creator-application process.

It applies to the Hashtag Bio Inc. / hashtag.bio creator-opportunity website and the application form presented through that website. Separate Hashtag Bio Inc. websites, apps, public profiles and partner-controlled services require their own accessibility assessment where their design or functions differ.

2. Responsible organization

Miss Denmark branding identifies a campaign collaboration. Hashtag Bio Inc. operates the website and is the first contact for an accessibility barrier in the general page or creator-application process unless a clearly identified partner service states otherwise.

3. Accessibility commitment

Hashtag Bio Inc. is committed to providing substantially equivalent access to website information and the creator-application process for people with disabilities. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing design, development, content and support responsibility rather than a one-time certification.

The working technical target for Hashtag Bio Inc. is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG organizes accessibility around four principles: content and controls should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

This target is a development and testing standard. It is not a statement that every page or third-party component has already been independently certified as conforming.

4. Current conformance status

Current status: Hashtag BIO has not yet completed a full independent WCAG 2.2 Level AA audit covering the complete creator-application process. The website therefore does not currently make a claim of full WCAG conformance.

This interim statement is intended to describe the target, the areas being tested and the assistance available while formal testing and remediation are completed. Automated testing alone is not treated as proof of conformance.

The conformance position will be updated after representative keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, reflow, mobile and form-error testing has been completed and material barriers have been remediated.

5. Accessibility requirements used for the website

The website's design and implementation standard requires the following measures:

  • Semantic page structure, descriptive page titles and headings in a logical order.
  • Keyboard access to links, form controls, consent controls and submission functions without a keyboard trap.
  • A visible keyboard focus indicator that is not hidden behind another component.
  • Programmatic labels, instructions and required-field identification for application controls.
  • Error messages that identify the affected field, explain the problem and are announced to assistive technology.
  • Sufficient text and non-text contrast, with information not communicated by color alone.
  • Meaningful text alternatives for informative images and empty alternatives for decorative images.
  • Responsive layout, text resizing and reflow without loss of information or function at supported zoom levels.
  • Descriptive link and button names that communicate their purpose.
  • Touch targets and spacing that support visitors with limited dexterity.
  • No content that flashes in a way known to create a seizure risk.
  • Captions, transcripts or an equivalent alternative before audio or video is used to convey application information.
  • Language identification, clear instructions and consistent help and contact information.

6. Areas still requiring verification

The following parts of the current experience require complete assistive-technology and user-flow testing. Until that work is complete, some visitors may encounter a barrier:

  • The embedded application form, including focus order, country and platform selectors, validation messages, character counters and the submission confirmation.
  • The telephone country-code control and other custom dropdown components.
  • The cookie banner, preference panel and persistent Cookie Settings control.
  • Reading order and text alternatives for campaign photography and decorative graphics.
  • Reflow at high zoom and on narrow mobile screens, particularly where application fields appear side by side.
  • Announcements of loading, error, consent and successful-submission status messages.
  • Compatibility between the embedded form and common screen-reader and browser combinations.

These items are testing priorities, not a representation that every listed component is defective. A verified limitation and its remediation status will be added to this statement when it materially affects access.

7. Creator-application assistance and alternative access

A person who cannot access or complete the creator application because of a disability may contact support@hashtag.bio or call +1 888-246-0148. Hashtag Bio Inc. will work with the person to provide the relevant information and arrange a reasonable alternative way to submit the application.

Requesting accessibility assistance or using an alternative submission method will not, by itself, reduce an applicant's opportunity to be considered. The same material eligibility requirements and review criteria may still apply.

Do not send passwords, complete identity documents, medical records or unnecessary sensitive information by ordinary email. Support will identify a suitable method if additional information is genuinely required.

8. Reporting an accessibility barrier

Accessibility feedback may be sent to support@hashtag.bio. It is helpful, but not required, to include:

  • The page address or the part of the application affected.
  • A short description of what the person was trying to do.
  • What happened and any error message received.
  • The browser, device or assistive technology used, if the person is comfortable sharing it.
  • The preferred format or type of assistance.
  • A contact method for a response.

Hashtag Bio Inc. aims to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days. Resolution time depends on the barrier, third-party involvement and whether an immediate alternative is available. Urgent application-access requests should be identified as urgent in the subject line or at the start of the call.

9. Supported access and assistive technology

Hashtag BIO is intended to work with current versions of major standards-compliant browsers, browser zoom, keyboard-only navigation, screen readers, voice control and common mobile accessibility features.

Technology combinations vary, and an older browser or assistive technology may interpret newer web components differently. A visitor who encounters a problem should use the feedback route in Section 8 so that the specific combination can be assessed and an alternative provided.

10. Third-party and embedded services

The current website is delivered using Webflow and the creator application is presented using Typeform. The page may also link to independent social-media platforms or partner websites.

Hashtag Bio Inc. is responsible for choosing and configuring embedded services used in the Hashtag BIO process and for providing a reasonable alternative where an embedded component prevents access. A visitor who follows a link to an independent website is also subject to that provider's accessibility arrangements.

A third-party limitation does not remove the feedback and alternative-access commitments in this statement.

11. Ongoing testing and improvement

Accessibility work for Hashtag BIO includes automated checks, manual keyboard testing, screen-reader review, zoom and reflow testing, mobile testing, content review and testing of complete tasks such as opening, completing and submitting the application.

Automated tools can identify some issues but cannot establish conformance by themselves. Representative testing by people with disabilities or qualified accessibility specialists will be used where practicable, especially for the embedded application process.

Accessibility requirements apply to material design changes, new form fields, new cookie controls, campaign media and new third-party integrations before release. Material barriers are prioritized according to their impact on completing the application or obtaining information.

12. Denmark and the European Union

The European Accessibility Act and Denmark's implementing accessibility law apply to specified products and services, including qualifying e-commerce services, from 28 June 2025, subject to their scope, definitions, transitional rules and exemptions. Applicability depends on the service offered and the provider; it does not arise merely because a website can be viewed from the European Union.

The current Hashtag BIO page is a free creator-opportunity application page and does not conclude a paid online consumer sale. Hashtag Bio Inc. does not rely on that fact as a reason to provide an inaccessible service and has adopted WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its working target.

The EU Web Accessibility Directive concerns public-sector websites and mobile applications. Hashtag Bio Inc. is a private company and does not claim that the public-sector statement model or monitoring rules apply to this page.

13. United States

The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits disability discrimination by covered entities. The United States Department of Justice states that businesses open to the public must ensure that the goods, services and activities they provide online are accessible, although it has not adopted a detailed Title III web technical standard for private businesses.

Hashtag BIO uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical technical target without representing that WCAG is the only way to satisfy every applicable United States obligation. Federal, state and local requirements and remedies may vary.

14. Accessibility Commitment

Hashtag Bio Inc. is committed to making its Services accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to design, develop, and maintain our websites and digital services in accordance with internationally recognized accessibility best practices.

Our goal is to conform, where reasonably practicable, with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We continually review and improve the accessibility of our Services through ongoing testing, user feedback, and enhancements to support a wide range of assistive technologies and devices.

As a company headquartered in Austin, Texas, Hashtag Bio Inc. also considers applicable accessibility requirements under United States law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), where applicable. While we work to improve accessibility across our Services, some content or third-party integrations may not yet fully meet every accessibility standard.

16. Changes to this statement

This statement will be reviewed after a material accessibility audit, a significant redesign, a change to the application provider or process, or a material change in applicable requirements. The version and last-updated date identify the current statement.
