Creator Code of Conduct

Hashtag BIO / Hashtag Bio Inc.

Effective date: 28 July 2026

Responsible organization: Hashtag Bio Inc.

1. About this Code

This Creator Code of Conduct sets the baseline standards expected of people who apply through Hashtag Bio Inc. / hashtag.bio or participate in a creator opportunity administered by Hashtag Bio Inc.

The Code protects applicants, creators, audiences, brands, event participants and the integrity of the Hashtag Bio Inc. network. It addresses authenticity, lawful advertising, safety, respectful conduct, privacy, intellectual property and professional behaviour.

This Code is not an employment agreement, talent-management agreement, agency appointment, exclusivity agreement or promise of work. A campaign, event, ambassador appointment, payment or content licence requires separate written terms.

2. Responsible organization

Miss Denmark branding identifies a campaign collaboration. Hashtag Bio Inc. operates the general creator application and this Code. A separate opportunity may identify an additional brand, event organizer or partner and its responsibilities.

3. Who and what the Code covers

At the application stage, the Code applies to the applicant's identity, application information, public profile supplied for review, communications with reviewers and conduct affecting the integrity or safety of the application process.

After acceptance, the participation standards apply when this Code is incorporated into a creator, campaign, event or ambassador agreement, or when the creator expressly acknowledges it for a specific opportunity.

Hashtag Bio Inc. may use the Code as a suitability and risk-management framework. It does not authorize access to private accounts, private messages or unrelated personal information. Public-profile review and personal-information handling remain subject to the Creator Application and Eligibility Terms and the Privacy Policy and Creator Application Privacy Notice.

Applicant: A person who submits or maintains a creator application.

Creator: An applicant accepted for a network or a specific opportunity.

Campaign: A separately agreed brand, event, partnership or promotional activity.

Commercial content: Content intended to advertise, promote or influence consumer behaviour.

Material connection: A payment, gift, discount, free product, invitation, travel, employment, family, agency or other relationship that could affect how an audience evaluates an endorsement.

4. Core standards

Applicants and creators are expected to:

  • Act honestly and identify themselves and their audience information accurately.
  • Respect the dignity, safety, privacy and lawful rights of other people.
  • Keep advertising recognizable and make required commercial disclosures clear.
  • Use only content, music, footage, trademarks and personal information they are authorized to use.
  • Follow applicable law, platform rules, campaign terms, venue rules and proportionate safety instructions.
  • Communicate professionally and raise concerns promptly.
  • Correct material errors, missing disclosures or rights problems without avoidable delay.

5. Accurate identity, profile and application information

An applicant or creator must not impersonate another person, use a profile without authority, falsify age or location, misstate ownership of content, conceal a material conflict, or provide audience, performance or experience information that is materially false or misleading.

Estimates and platform analytics must be identified honestly. Screenshots, media kits, invoices, engagement reports and verification records must not be altered to create a misleading impression. A material change affecting eligibility or a current campaign should be reported promptly.

6. Authentic audiences and engagement

Creators must not buy, create, sell or knowingly use fake followers, views, likes, comments, saves, shares, reviews or other fabricated indicators to misrepresent influence or campaign performance. Prohibited methods include bots, click farms, hijacked accounts, undisclosed engagement pods used deceptively and coordinated inauthentic activity.

Legitimate advertising, platform promotion tools and genuine audience-development services are not prohibited merely because they increase reach. They must not be reported as organic performance when that distinction is material, and they must comply with the campaign measurement rules.

7. Advertising, endorsements and material connections

Commercial content must be identifiable as advertising. A creator must disclose a material connection whenever applicable law, the relevant audience, platform rules or campaign terms require it. The disclosure must be easy to notice, easy to understand and placed with the endorsement before or at the point where the audience encounters the promotional message.

A platform's paid-partnership tool should be used where required, but it must not be treated as a substitute for an additional clear disclosure where the tool alone could be missed or misunderstood. Disclosures must not be buried among hashtags, placed only on a profile page or hidden behind a 'more' control when the endorsement is already visible.

The disclosure should use the same language as the endorsement and should appear in the relevant visual, audible or written part of the content. Live content should repeat the disclosure when necessary for viewers joining later. The separate Influencer Advertising and Disclosure Policy provides the implementation rules and approved examples.

8. Honest claims, reviews and testimonials

A creator may express a genuine opinion but must not claim to have used or experienced a product, service, place or event when that is untrue. A script or campaign brief does not excuse a statement the creator knows is false or materially misleading.

Objective claims about health, finance, safety, performance, environmental impact, typical results or scientific proof must remain within approved and adequately supported campaign claims. Personal experience must not be presented as proof that every consumer will obtain the same result.

Creators must not create, purchase, commission or distribute fake reviews or testimonials; condition an incentive on a positive or negative review; hide a material insider relationship; distort genuine review sentiment; or threaten a reviewer to suppress a lawful negative review.

9. Respectful and inclusive conduct

Applicants and creators must communicate without harassment, bullying, stalking, credible threats, sexual misconduct, doxxing, intimidation or retaliation. They must not direct abusive audience activity at another person or encourage coordinated harassment.

Discrimination, degrading treatment or exclusion based on a protected or intrinsic characteristic is prohibited where contrary to applicable law or the standards of the relevant opportunity. This includes conduct connected with race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or another legally protected characteristic.

Good-faith criticism, journalism, parody, advocacy and discussion of public issues are not prohibited merely because they are uncomfortable or unpopular. Context, public interest, safety and applicable rights must be considered.

10. Safety, unlawful activity and harmful content

A creator must not use an application, campaign, event or network relationship to facilitate illegal activity, exploitation, trafficking, sexual abuse, credible violence, dangerous challenges, fraud, malware, theft, unlawful weapons activity or the sale of prohibited goods.

Content that depicts a lawful activity is not automatically prohibited. However, a creator must follow age restrictions, warnings, platform rules and campaign safeguards where content could reasonably create a material safety risk, encourage imitation or promote a regulated product or service.

Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, gambling, firearms, financial products, medicines, supplements and other regulated categories require specific written authorization, lawful audience and geographic controls, supported claims and compliance with the relevant platform and campaign rules.

11. Children and young people

An applicant must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required in the applicant's country. A person under 18, or a person who otherwise lacks full contractual capacity, may require verified parent or legal-guardian authorization before acceptance, verification, travel, campaign participation, contracting or payment.

Creators must not exploit, sexualize, groom, endanger or inappropriately contact a child. Content involving a child requires the permissions, supervision, safeguarding measures, working-time limits, privacy protections and permits required by the child's location and the place of production.

Marketing likely to reach children or young people must use age-appropriate language and stronger disclosure and safety measures. Age-restricted products must not be promoted to an underage audience. Guardian permission does not replace a legal child-performer, employment, education or safeguarding requirement.

12. Privacy and personal information

Creators must not disclose another person's address, telephone number, identification document, private communication, precise location, financial information, health information or other non-public personal information without authority and a lawful reason.

A campaign list, applicant record, event attendee list, customer record or audience export may be used only for the authorized purpose. It must not be copied into a personal contact list, sold, independently marketed to, retained unnecessarily or uploaded to an unapproved service.

A suspected loss, unauthorized disclosure, phishing attempt or account compromise involving campaign or applicant information must be reported promptly to support@hashtag.bio. The Privacy Policy and Creator Application Privacy Notice governs Hashtag Bio Inc.'s own handling of personal information.

13. Intellectual property and content permissions

A creator must own or hold the licences, releases and permissions needed for submitted or campaign content. This includes music, footage, photographs, artwork, software, locations, trademarks, performances and the image or voice of another person.

A campaign licence does not automatically transfer ownership of a creator's pre-existing work. The specific creator or campaign agreement must state the permitted uses, media, territory, duration, editing rights, paid-media rights, whitelisting, exclusivity and any right to use a name, image, likeness or voice.

A credible rights complaint should be reported promptly. Relevant content may be paused or removed while ownership, authorization and the appropriate remedy are assessed.

14. Confidential information and embargoes

Non-public campaign briefs, launch dates, access links, credentials, product information, pricing, personal information and business materials marked or reasonably understood as confidential must be protected and used only for the agreed purpose.

A creator must follow a clearly stated embargo and must not share credentials or grant unauthorized account access. Confidentiality does not prohibit a lawful report to a regulator, law-enforcement body, court, lawyer or protected whistleblowing channel.

15. Professional campaign conduct

For an accepted opportunity, a creator must review the brief, disclose material conflicts, confirm realistic availability, meet agreed deadlines, follow the approval process and keep accurate records needed for payment and lawful reporting.

A creator must not publish unapproved campaign content where pre-approval is required, materially alter an approved claim, miss a required disclosure, conceal a missed deliverable or falsely report publication or performance.

A creator remains entitled to decline unsafe, unlawful or materially different work. A brand brief cannot require a false statement, hidden advertisement, unlawful discrimination, rights infringement or waiver of a mandatory legal protection.

16. Conflicts of interest, gifts and improper influence

A creator should disclose a relationship or competing commitment that could materially affect campaign performance, exclusivity, credibility or an audience's evaluation of an endorsement.

Applicants and creators must not offer, request or accept a bribe, secret commission, kickback or improper benefit intended to influence selection, approval, measurement, payment or enforcement. Ordinary disclosed hospitality or a campaign benefit is not prohibited when lawful, proportionate and permitted by the applicable agreement.

17. AI-generated, edited and synthetic media

A creator remains responsible for content produced or edited with artificial-intelligence tools. AI must not be used to fabricate an endorsement, impersonate a real person, create fake evidence, conceal a material product limitation or produce a materially deceptive depiction of an event or result.

Synthetic or materially altered content must be labelled where the absence of a label could mislead the intended audience about identity, reality, product performance or a commercial claim, or where a law, platform rule or campaign instruction requires disclosure.

Confidential campaign material, credentials or another person's personal information must not be submitted to an AI service unless that use is authorized and the service has been approved for the purpose.

18. Platform rules and account security

Creators must comply with the rules of each social-media, advertising, payment, event or content platform they use. They must not evade a lawful suspension, bypass access controls, distribute malware, scrape private information or interfere with another account.

Account credentials must not be shared except through an approved and secure access method. Multi-factor authentication should be enabled where available for accounts used in campaigns. A suspected compromise affecting a live campaign must be reported promptly.

19. Events, travel and in-person conduct

At an event, shoot, trip or meeting, creators must follow lawful venue, safeguarding, accreditation, health and safety instructions. Harassment, violence, theft, deliberate property damage, illegal substances, dangerous weapons and intoxication that materially impairs safety or performance are prohibited.

A creator should stop and report a situation that presents an immediate and serious safety risk. Nothing in this Code requires a person to remain at an unsafe location or prevents contact with local emergency services.

20. Reporting concerns and protection from retaliation

A concern about safety, fraud, harassment, exploitation, hidden advertising, rights infringement, privacy, account compromise or another Code issue may be reported to support@hashtag.bio. Legal concerns and requests for formal review may be sent to legal@hashtag.bio.

A report should identify the affected campaign or application, describe what happened and provide relevant links or evidence where lawful and safe. Do not send passwords, complete identity documents, unnecessary intimate material or unlawfully obtained private information by ordinary email.

Hashtag Bio Inc. will not knowingly penalize a person merely for making a good-faith report, requesting safety support or participating honestly in a review. Knowingly false reports, evidence fabrication, retaliation and interference with a review are themselves prohibited.

21. Assessment and proportionate action

Reports and potential violations are assessed by authorized people. Relevant factors include the evidence, seriousness, intent, audience and child impact, actual or likely harm, legal and campaign requirements, previous similar conduct, cooperation and whether an effective correction is possible.

Depending on the circumstances, Hashtag Bio Inc. may request information; provide guidance; require correction, disclosure or removal; pause an application, invitation, campaign or payment review; restrict eligibility; suspend or remove a creator from the network; terminate an opportunity as permitted by its agreement; preserve evidence; notify an affected partner; or refer credible unlawful conduct to an appropriate authority.

Urgent temporary action may be taken before a final decision where reasonably necessary to protect a child or another person, secure an account, prevent ongoing deception, preserve evidence or comply with law. A temporary step is not by itself a final finding.

Hashtag Bio Inc. does not make a final Code decision solely through automated processing. Automated tools may help identify duplicate records, unusual engagement or content requiring review, but an authorized person must assess the relevant context.

22. Notice and request for review

Where lawful and reasonably safe, a person subject to a material adverse decision will receive the principal reason, the action taken and information about requesting review. Notice may be limited where disclosure would endanger a person, reveal protected security methods, prejudice an investigation or disclose another person's confidential information.

A request for review may be sent to legal@hashtag.bio within 14 calendar days after notice of the decision. It should identify the decision, explain the alleged error and provide any new relevant information. Hashtag Bio Inc. aims to acknowledge the request within five business days and provide a reasoned outcome within 20 business days, although a complex or external investigation may take longer.

The reviewer should not be the sole original decision-maker where a reasonably independent reviewer is available. This internal process does not prevent a person from contacting a competent court, regulator, platform or law-enforcement body and does not suspend a legal limitation period.

23. Relationship to law, platforms and agreements

This Code is a baseline, not a complete statement of every law or platform rule. A creator must comply with the requirements applicable to the creator, content, audience, product, location and platform. When multiple rules apply, the stricter lawful requirement should be followed unless the applicable agreement clearly resolves the issue without reducing a mandatory protection.

In Denmark and the European Union, commercial intent must be made clear and hidden advertising is prohibited. In the United States, endorsements must be truthful and material connections must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously; current federal rules also address fake reviews and fake indicators of social-media influence

A campaign or creator agreement may impose additional lawful requirements. If it conflicts with this Code for a specific opportunity, the agreement controls for that opportunity except that it cannot authorize unlawful conduct or remove a mandatory right.

24. Changes to the Code

The Code may be updated to reflect material changes in the creator programme, law, regulatory guidance, platform practices, safety risks or enforcement experience. The version and last-updated date identify the current text.

A material change will not be applied retroactively to create a violation where the conduct complied with the version that governed it. A new version may apply to future applications or opportunities after reasonable notice and any acknowledgement required by the applicable agreement or law.
